New Rates | Upper Valley Flying Club

The club membership has voted in new rates for 2017. The new rates reward members who fly two or more hours per month with lower total flying cost the more hours flown. Rate changes will take effect March 1st.

Here’s the breakdown:

Cessna 172 Wet Rate per hour tach	$108
Cessna 182 Wet Rate (pre-upgrade) per hour tach	$134
Cessna 182 Wet Rate (after panel upgrade) per hour Tach	$161

Membership Full

Membership in the club continues to be full. Apologies to those waiting to get into the club--we can only manage so many members with two planes. We tried out a third plane a couple years ago, but the finances didn't pan out. So, we remain a two-plane club and keep our membership limited so that everyone has reasonable access to the planes. We take new members first-come first-served from the waiting list. If you're hoping to join, best thing to do is apply to join and we will put you on the waiting list. 182 Grounded

August 14th, 2024

Our 182 is grounded for the foreseeable future for unexpected repair work on the prop and engine. Unfortunately, shops are backed up so much that we don't expect the plane to return to service for months. This unfortunately also means the club will not be taking any new members for the foreseeable future so that existing members have reasonable access to our 172.
